The main idea, around which the project is developed, is to design new green areas as forms of contamination by the existing landscape around the bay where the Hotel Corte Rosada is located. These new \u201cscrubs\u201d show a spontaneous aspect, natural, independent, able to grow over time, requiring a minimum human intervention. The choice of plant material affects predominantly native species, originating in the Mediterranean scrub and undergrowth of Pinus Pinea. Together some allochthonous species are proposed, which are particularly suited to the growing conditions of the pine forest undergrowth, drought-resistant, strong wind and salt spray.<\/p>\n
The theme of the green, relevance of the individual units, follows a common line to all the building-rooms, characterized by a plant vegetation with visual screening function and the composition of the green elements in irregularly shaped groupings. These scrubs of vegetation will extend gradually over time, following a natural evolutionary dynamic and will lead to reduce the adjacent areas without vegetation cover.<\/p>\n
Critical point of the project intervention is the frontal yard of the entrance: along important visual axes, determined by the pedestrian promenade that connects the parking lot with the reception and restaurant hall, the linear vegetation directs the viewer’s attention towards the sea. Continuing along the same promenade, the viewer is drawn from fragments of aromatic Mediterranean vegetation, located in raised flowerbeds, heart of the project.<\/p>\n
The flowerbeds, made of Corten steel and integrated wood seats, organize the space, creating a place of open-air stopover, comfortable and stimulating for the hotel guests. The colors of the vegetation in shades of grey and bright summer flowers create a striking visual background to the sea.<\/p>\n
The project is based on ecological and sustainable principles, has a positive impact in terms of landscape aesthetics and creates changing and temporary scenarios which, in the future, could merge with the surrounding context. The inserted type of vegetation is deliberately low-maintenance and requires minimal intervention such as cuts spaced in time to balance the volumes and ensure the natural regeneration of plants.<\/p>\n
The irrigation system will be gradually reduced, becoming necessary only necessary for regeneration purposes during periods of extreme drought.<\/p>\n

Queste nuove \u201cmacchie\u201d mostrano un aspetto spontaneo, naturale, autonomo, in grado di crescere nel tempo, necessitando del minimo intervento da parte dell\u2019uomo. La scelta del materiale vegetale interessa specie prevalentemente autoctone, originarie della macchia mediterranea e del sottobosco di Pinus pinea. Unitamente vengono proposte alcune specie aloctone particolarmente adatte alle condizioni di crescita nel sottobosco di pineta, resistenti alla siccit\u00e0, vento forte e salsedine.<\/p> Il tema del verde, di pertinenza delle singole unit\u00e0 abitative, segue una linea comune a tutti i blocchi-camere, caratterizzata da un impianto di vegetazione con funzione di schermatura visiva e la composizione degli elementi vegetali in raggruppamenti di forma irregolare. Queste macchie di vegetazione si estenderanno gradualmente nel tempo, seguendo una dinamica evolutiva naturale e porteranno a ridurre le aree adiacenti prive di copertura vegetale.<\/p> Intervento fondamentale del progetto riguarda il piazzale frontistante l\u2019ingresso: lungo assi visivi importanti, determinati dalla passeggiata pedonale che collega il parcheggio con la reception e sala ristorante, la vegetazione lineare dirige l\u2019attenzione dell\u2019osservatore verso il mare. Proseguendo lungo la stessa passeggiata pedonale, l\u2019osservatore viene attirato dai frammenti di vegetazione mediterranea aromatica, situati nelle aiuole rialzate, fulcro del progetto.<\/p> Le aiuole, realizzate in acciaio corten e con sedute in legno integrate, organizzano lo spazio, generando un luogo di sosta all\u2019aperto, confortevole e stimolante per i clienti dell\u2019albergo. I colori della vegetazione in tonalit\u00e0 di grigio e fioriture estive vivaci creano un sottofondo visivo suggestivo verso il mare.<\/p> Il\u00a0\u00a0 progetto si\u00a0 basa\u00a0 su principi ecologici e sostenibili, ha un impatto positivo in termini di estetica del paesaggio e crea scenari mutevoli e transitori che in futuro potranno fondersi con il contesto circostante.
