The building dates back to the early nineteenth century and is on three levels. The main work was done in the front lobby, in the staircase block, in the second level and in the attic. The second level, a squared plan, faces the outside on two sides: the different environments follow one another, creating a circular path. In the middle, without facings, the restrooms have been included.<\/p>\n
Each new action is made evident by the strong contemporary character opposed to the existing: examples are the restrooms, in which however the large mirrored walls reflect, at the same time, the historical context in which they are inserted.<\/p>\n
The flooring of the second level is mostly terracotta floor, alternating with Carrara marble and cement hexagonal dichromate tiles.<\/p>\n
During the plaster restoration works, after the removal of the superficial layers of paint, special dry decorations from previous restructurings have been discovered, thus showing the presence of various layers.<\/p>\n
These paintings are visible in almost all the rooms and offer a unique characterization of the environments. On the walls it was brought back in sight the tuff plaster and later was given a light color, in harmony with the decorations of the vaults.<\/p>\n
On the top floor, however, it was possible to work more, given the conditions in which the attic was. The wooden roof was rebuilt according to the pre-existing scheme. The original terracotta floor has been maintained and restored and two apartments and an office were realized: a contemporary design, in contrast to the historical context in which it is inserted, characterizes the environments.

Il fabbricato risale alla prima met\u00e0 dell'ottocento e si sviluppa su tre livelli. L'intervento principale \u00e8 stato svolto nell'atrio di ingresso, nel blocco scale, nel secondo livello e nel sottotetto. Il secondo livello, a pianta quadrata, si affaccia all'esterno su due lati: i diversi ambienti si susseguono dando vita a un percorso circolare.<\/p> Nella fascia centrale, senza affacci, sono stati inseriti i blocchi servizi.<\/p> Ogni nuovo intervento \u00e8 reso evidente dal forte carattere contemporaneo in contrapposizione all'esistente: ne sono esempio i blocchi servizi, in cui per\u00f2 le grandi pareti specchiate riflettono, allo stesso tempo, il contesto storico in cui sono inseriti.<\/p> La pavimentazione del secondo piano \u00e8 prevalentemente in cotto, in alternanza con marmo di carrara e cementine esagonali bicrome.<\/p> Durante i lavori di ripristino degli intonaci, in seguito all\u2019asportazione degli strati superficiali di pittura, sono rinvenute particolari decorazioni a secco risalenti a ristrutturazioni precedenti, mostrando cosi la presenza di varie stratificazioni.<\/p> Tali pitture sono visibili in quasi tutte le sale e offrono una caratterizzazione unica agli ambienti.\u00a0 Sulle pareti \u00e8 stato riportato a vista l'intonaco a base tufo e in seguito \u00e8 stata data una colorazione tenue, in armonia con le decorazioni presenti nelle volte.<\/p> All\u2019ultimo piano invece \u00e8 stato possibile intervenire maggiormente date le condizioni in cui versava il sottotetto. La copertura in legno \u00e8 stata ricostruita secondo lo schema pre-esistente. \u00c8 stata mantenuta e ripristinata la pavimentazione originale in cotto e sono stati realizzati due bilocali e un ufficio: un arredo contemporaneo, in contrasto con il contesto storico in cui \u00e8 inserito, caratterizza gli ambienti.<\/p> [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=\"1_3\"][et_pb_text admin_label=\"Text\" background_layout=\"light\" text_orientation=\"left\" use_border_color=\"off\" border_color=\"#ffffff\" border_style=\"solid\"]<\/p> Progetto: <\/strong>Palazzetto ottocentesco, Sassari.
